PayPal customers from the UK will be able to trade in cryptocurrencies


From September 17 PayPal users from the UK will be able to use cryptocurrencies. Earlier the company provided the opportunity for U.S. residents to make transactions with digital assets through its services. 

In August 2021 the announcement of the first update of PayPal, relating to cryptocurrencies. The company’s British customers can use the payment system to store and trade crypto-assets. Transactions with Bitcoin Cash, etherium, bitcoin and litecoin are available to users. In the announcement, the company also claimed that British customers will be able to use educational materials and track current rates of cryptocurrencies. 


In July, PayPal increased the limit for some users of cryptoservices to purchase digital assets during the week. This amount increased from $20 thousand to $100 thousand.
